Full suspension downhill mountain bikes, enduro mountain bikes, Class 1 e-mountain bikes, trail bikes, hardtail and dirt jumper bikes are welcome. Wheel sizes from 16” to 29” are welcome. Many different bike configurations are allowed at camp including class-1 pedal assisted E-bikes. No E-motorcycles or E-bikes with an independent throttle are permitted at camp Woodward.  

The Gravity Park and Camp Trails zones were designed with a modern trail bike in mind. A bike with roughly 150mm of suspension travel equipped with front and rear disk brakes, and rider size dependent 24”, 26”, 27.5” or 29” wheels.  

Some zones at camp like our skateparks, pump track, small and big dirt jump lines, and even the Gravity Park can be better enjoyed on a hardtail/dirt jump bike if you enjoy that style of riding.  

We find that more serious campers bring multiple bikes to maximize their experience on our varied terrain. They typically bring a dirt jumper for the skateparks and BMX styled dirt jump zones, and a full suspension trail bike for the dedicated mountain bike zones. 

We will have a small rental fleet available. There will be a weekly rental fee if you prefer to rent a bike from us rather than bring your own bike.

Mountain Bikers must wear a full face helmet. We highly recommend campers wear elbow pads, knee pads and gloves. We will have safety gear available to purchase in our camp store.

Campers start their day with cabin mates at breakfast, then head to morning announcements before splitting into skill groups for instruction. A mandatory wheels-off period follows, offering rest, lunch, and recreation.  

Afternoon instruction is flexible, letting campers choose their focus. Open-ride continues through the evening, with options to explore parks, practice tricks, or hit the go-kart track. Every afternoon offers sport-specific jams and contests followed by recreational electives in music, art and digital media.

After dinner with cabin mates or sport groups, campers dive back into riding, exploring, or trying something new! Skill clinics and all camp gatherings highlight each evening. Turn in your wheels, shower, and rest up before you do it all again tomorrow!

We have a team of medical staff to handle minor illness's/injuries and medical emergencies. There are live-in Registered Nurses available 24/7 who handle camper illnesses and medication distribution. In addition, a team of athletic trainers handle wound care and injuries.
