Camper Testimonials

Whitney E.

The Best Camp

“For the past few years, my son and I have heard nothing but good stories from Woodward. He had a couple friends that attended in years prior and we were told it is the best camp you could possibly go to. We did not consider other camps. Woodward was all it was for us!”

Audrey H.

Encouraging Environment

“My kids are beginners and they were never looked down on for it by instructors or other kids. I have done a lot of work with kids, the encouraging environment at Woodward is like no other.”

Ryan S.

A Ton of Independence

“I like that campers have a ton of independence, but that there is also some structure to their days. The ability to work with coaches one on one is huge and the chance to see pros skate is amazing.”

What is The Daily Schedule at Camp?

Campers start their day with cabin mates, breakfast, and morning announcements before splitting into skill groups for instruction. A mandatory wheels-off period follows, offering rest, lunch, and recreation.

Afternoon instruction is flexible, letting campers choose their focus. Open-ride continues through the evening, with options to explore parks, practice tricks, join a clinic, or hit the go-kart track.

After dinner with cabin mates or sport groups, campers dive back into riding, exploring, or trying something new! Turn in your wheels, shower, and rest up before you do it all again tomorrow!

What happens if my child has an injury?

At Woodward, the safety and wellbeing of our campers and staff are the priority. We know injuries could happen at anytime and anywhere, this is why every staff member is taught to handle a medical emergency the same way. We also have Registered Nurses and Certified Athletic Trainers staffed to handle medical situations. In addition, Parents/Guardians are communicated for any injury to the face/head, if a camper is needed off-site medical care, or if they are taken out of participation for longer than 2 hours. Please view our Parent Guide for more detailed information.
