IMPORTANT UPDATE: As of July 1st, Pennsylvania’s Governor, Tom Wolf, has reiterated the mandate of the mask-wearing order. All campers will now be required to wear face coverings at camp when indoors and when 6ft distancing outdoors cannot be maintained. Campers will not be expected to wear them while sleeping and when riding & training due to being outdoors and in large indoor ventilated areas while practicing social distancing. We continue to believe in the many benefits of camp—from community and learning to friendship—and because we know you are counting on us for an enriching camp experience, we are doing everything we can to safely operate this summer. We ask that each camper bring cloth masks to wear daily while attending camp.

Like you, we have continued to closely monitor COVID-19, both locally and nationally, including Governor Wolf’s Process to Reopen Pennsylvania. We are adjusting our operational plans as we work to meet or exceed all health safety mandates provided by Centre County, the State of Pennsylvania, and best practices recommended by the American Camp Association.
The state has required us to reduce our capacity by 50%, which means we must significantly reduce the number of campers allowed in each camp week. We have made the difficult decision to cancel several of our sport programs this summer.
The following programs at Woodward PA have been canceled for summer 2020:
•BMX Racing
•Dance
•Digital Photography
•Inline
•Mountain Bike
•Multi-Sport
•Power Tumbling
•Parkour
•Video Production
While we wish we could operate at full capacity and continue to offer all programs, we appreciate your understanding of the standard we must meet per the State of Pennsylvania’s COVID-19 capacity mandate.
Although this mandate is out of our control, we want to extend a token of our appreciation to any camper affected by these cancellations. Specifically, for any registered camper whose 2020 program is canceled, we are offering you a $100 registration discount that can be used toward a 2021 camp session.
To learn more about how to reschedule, please visit our Canceled Programs Rescheduling FAQ. If you prefer email, please contact us at office@woodwardcamp.com with your 2021 rebooking week preference or additional questions, and a team member will be in touch as soon as possible. We are happy to process your request and thank you for your continued patience and understanding in this extremely dynamic environment.

Please read the updated COVID-19 Assumption of Risk:
The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is reported to be extremely contagious. The state of medical knowledge is evolving, but the virus is believed to spread from person-to-person contact and/or by contact with contaminated surfaces and objects, and even possibly in the air. People reportedly can be infected and show no symptoms and therefore spread the disease. The exact methods of spread and contraction are unknown, and there is no known treatment, cure, or vaccine for COVID-19. Evidence has shown that COVID-19 can cause serious and potentially life threatening illness and even death.
